David has been a registered Industrial Psychologist since 1988. Before founding the practice in 2003, he held Industrial Psychology and Executive Management roles at Transnet, Sasol, ABSA and Liberty Life. Since then he has guest-lectured at the Stellenbosch, UNISA, Wits and GIBS business schools, taught Industrial Psychology at the University of Johannesburg for close to two decades, and supervised HPCSA-registered psychometrist and Industrial Psychologist interns.

He is also an accredited expert witness, having testified in the High Courts of Pretoria, Johannesburg, Durban, Pietermaritzburg and Grahamstown, and completed more than 4,000 loss-of-earnings reports over the past 15 years. That work demands the same evidentiary rigor this platform is held to. He leads the team of Industrial Psychologists behind PositionMeAI’s Career Intelligence framework.

Anette de Vlamingh has been a registered Industrial Psychologist since 1988, holding a BCom, BCom Honours and MCom in Industrial Psychology from the University of Pretoria. She has lectured Industrial Psychology at the University of Johannesburg and Monash University, supervised Honours-level psychology students at Monash, and marked for UNISA, Lyceum College and Technikon SA.

Her earlier career included roles at Kentron, IGI and ABSA, and she is a trauma debriefing expert. Anette co-founded De Vlamingh & Associates with David in 2013 and manages the practice. She is part of the team of Industrial Psychologists behind PositionMeAI’s Career Intelligence framework.

Larisa Louw founded PositionMeAI, drawing on 23 years of practice in career assessment as a Senior Industrial Psychologist and eight years lecturing Industrial Psychology at the University of South Africa (UNISA), from first-year modules through to Master’s-level career psychology. Her UNISA teaching, recognised with four university awards for tuition and module design, centred on building the same employability and self-directedness this platform measures in its users.

She is a member of the South African Medico-Legal Society and has volunteered her expertise guiding matriculants from under-resourced communities through career and study decisions. She is also a Senior Industrial Psychologist at De Vlamingh & Associates Consulting CC, part of the team of Industrial Psychologists behind PositionMeAI’s Career Intelligence framework.

A mother of two boys, she is passionate about preparing today’s youth for a changing world of work, AI included.

Bernice Foley is a Senior Psychometrist in independent practice, registered with the HPCSA, with over 12 years of experience and more than eight years specialising in medico-legal psychology. She joined De Vlamingh & Associates in 2022, where she conducts psychometric, cognitive, personality and vocational assessments for personal injury, medical negligence and Road Accident Fund (RAF) matters, and compiles medico-legal reports that combine her findings with medical records, collateral information and labour-market research.

Her core expertise in vocational and employability assessment, and labour-market and earnings research, sits directly in the domain this platform works in. She also supervises and mentors junior Psychometrists, and is part of the multidisciplinary team behind PositionMeAI’s Career Intelligence framework, working alongside its Industrial Psychologists.

Deonni Roos joined De Vlamingh & Associates as a Psychometrist in 2025. She holds four degrees from North-West University: a BCom in Industrial Psychology and Labour Relations, and Honours degrees in Human Resource Management, Labour Relations, and Industrial Psychology. She has been registered with the HPCSA as a Psychometrist since 2021.

Her assessment experience spans medico-legal work on Road Accident Fund, loss of support, and medical negligence claims, and corporate talent assessment for major insurers including Sanlam, Santam, and Miway Life. She is part of the multidisciplinary team behind PositionMeAI’s Career Intelligence framework, working alongside its Industrial Psychologists.

Jana Antonites holds a BEd in Foundation Phase and Early Childhood Education (2010) and a BEdHons in Learning Support (2013), both from the University of Pretoria. Over more than a decade teaching across South African, American Common Core, and IB (PYP) curricula, she has held Head of Department and Head of Subject roles, administered Foundation Phase, Mathematics, and Dyscalculia screening tools, and developed intervention plans informed by learner assessment data. Her experience includes three years teaching Mathematics and heading the Mathematics Department at IBN Khuldoon National School in the Kingdom of Bahrain. In 2024 she received the AdvTech Stellar Teacher Award for Student Impact.

At De Vlamingh & Associates Consulting CC, she brings this Foundation Phase and remediation expertise to the practice, and administers claims.

Dr Cebile Tebele is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Industrial and Organisational Psychology at the University of South Africa (UNISA), where she has taught since 2010. She holds a PhD in Industrial and Organisational Psychology from UNISA (2022), is a registered Industrial Psychologist with the HPCSA, and has authored more than 22 peer-reviewed journal articles, book chapters, and conference contributions across career psychology, employability, and workplace wellbeing.

She collaborates with PositionMeAI as an academic and research advisor, bringing her research on career adaptability, retention, and employability, together with her experience chairing university research ethics committees, to the platform’s academic grounding. She has supervised 17 postgraduate research candidates to date and delivered the keynote address at the SIOPSA 27th Annual Conference on ethical conduct in practice.
